Chet D. Ridenour, DO

Dr. Ridenour earned a medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1981.  He served a rotating internship at Grandview Hospital in Dayton.  He then joined a family practice group in 1982 where he was involved in emergency medicine and obstetrics.

He left family practice in 1989 to pursue an ophthalmology residency at Doctors Hospital/Ohio University where he also served as chief resident.  Dr. Ridenour continued his studies with a fellowship in vitreo-retinal surgery at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine Eye Center.

Dr. Ridenour is a clinical assistant professor at both Ohio University and The Ohio State University.  He also has taught at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.
