Dr. Borkowski joined The Retina Group in October of 2004 after relocating from Chicago, Illinois, where she was in private practice for three years.

She graduated from the University of Michigan and received her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine.  After an internship at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, Dr. Borkowski completed her ophthalmology residency and vitreo-retinal fellowship at Northwestern University.

Dr. Borkowski is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.  She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Medical Association, and the American Society of Retinal Specialists.
